RE: Coupon books
Dear Manager,
It is difficult at this time to get things done, what with the shelter in place mandate. Therefore I am asking all managers to mail me a check for the books sold, (made out to FSSL) and then bank the cash yourself. This way we can keep track of who has paid and who hasn’t. Once starts up again I can collect books not sold or additional cash from sales. So please bank the cash and sent a check to me at 371 Bethel Ave. #116, Sanger California 93657, but remember to make checks payable to the FSSL.
Thanking you in advance for the courtesy.

Because the City of Fresno has extended the shelter-in-place order I have extended suspension of the league to April 30th. I was hoping that we could have begun play again on April 13th, but with the city keeping their orders of shelter in place order they will keep the parks closed therefore keeping us from playing. I hope all players undersatand and are keeping and staying well.

1st I pray that all are well, and not as crazy as I am over no softball. Due to the time on my hands now that we are in a stand down city, I will try and post daily some points of interest for the members to read. So stay tuned as we will soon be up and running.

I THOUGHT you were going to do a transition of the current website to the old website Do you know what is going on with TeamPages? We need to announce to the league that we are going to extend the date to May 4TH because the City of Fresno just announced that they are extending closure of all parks until then. Please let me know what is happening. I know Gerald was to also ask you.

Thanks
Paul

From: Paul Sanchez, FSSL President
To: All managers and players

In regarding to all the phone calls and text messages that I have received from players, family members and fans regarding the Corona Virus, I have decided to suspense the FSSL league play until April 13, 2020. We will reevaluate on April 1, 2020 as to what is happening concerning this disease to see if we will restart the league play or continue with the suspension. I know some of you will not agree with me, but please understand that I am taking the correct steps to protect our players, family members and fans from this disease. We don’t know how much worse it will get and I don’t want anyone to get this disease. I want to thank you for your understanding and hopefully we will be back on the field playing soon.
