Another great game last night in which the favorite team lost, but what a way to go. Burrel Farms was leading 12-2 and forcer the fjip flop to be imposed only to see the Diamond Kings mount a great come back and force Burrel Farms to bat their half of the 7th. Diamond KIngs were only able to score two in the bottom of the 6th, but poured it on in the bottom half of the 7th by scoring 10 runs to take a two run lead into the top of the open inning. Burrel Farms then took advantage of two hits and a throwing error to load the bases. Another error allowed one run to score setting up the walk off hit by John VanBuskirk to drive in the tying and winning run which sends Burrell Farms to the championship game next Tuesday against the other surprise team the Fighting Dogs. On the night for Burrell Farms it was John VanBuskirk 5/5 with Paul Verellen 4/4 , Wes Schiebly 3/5 while Bill Eurich, Mike Runge and Tom Gray adding two hits each.
