Extra innings is what it took for Misfits to get the win last night as Wossamotti-U made a great effort . Down 0-10 and that is when Wossamotti-U started their come back and took a one run lead into the bottom of the open inning when with one out a base hit and error put the tieing run at second, they walked the next batter and a single by Fred Spenhoff tied the game at 15-15. This sent it into the extra inning with run placed on second to start. Then the runner tried to score on a single and was thrown out at home. Nest batter walked and was force at second for the 2nd out leaving runners at 1st and third with the next batter flying out deep to left field. The Misfits had to place a runner on second he got thrown out trying yo advance on a fly out to center and it looked like the game would be a tie. But Ken Smith got a double and score on a dropped fly ball to right field and the Misfits won another close gaem.
