This game was just like the other divisions as it was very close till the end. Tied 5/5 after 1, tied 7/7 after 3, in the 5th inning PTR score 4 to take a 12-7 lead, but Sherwood came back with 3 making it 12-10. No one score in the 6th. In the 7th PTR took advantage of a dropped ball and then added 5hits and two walks to plate 5 more runs. But in the bottom of the 7th with one out, Dave Pulido & Ken Blevens single bring the top of the order to the plate. A strike out for the 2nd out and no runs in, it was Richard Perkins & John VanBuskirk each singling to plate 3 runs, Sam Grimes then tripled in 2 more, but a hard line drive back to the pitcher off the bat of Ken Baker, who was three for three in the game before the shot to the pitcher ended the game.
